Claims & Support
If something has happened, start with safety. If there is an immediate threat to life, safety, or property, contact 911 or the appropriate emergency service. This page offers general preparation steps and ways to reach us during business hours.
Keep your carrier's information close
When something happens, the most important contact information is the information provided by your own insurance carrier. Keep that number somewhere easy to reach - in your phone, wallet, and vehicle - so you are not searching for it during a difficult moment.
You can usually find current contact details on your insurance identification card, policy documents, billing notice, carrier application, or official correspondence. Check the number when a policy renews or the carrier changes.
After an auto accident
Move to a safe place if you can do so safely. Seek emergency help when needed. Follow the directions of responding authorities. When appropriate and safe, note the time and location and keep information you may need for the report. Use the claim-reporting instructions in your own policy materials, especially after hours.
After property damage
Protect people first. Take reasonable steps to prevent further damage when safe, and keep records of what happened and any urgent work. Use your policy materials for the carrier's current claim-reporting instructions. We can help you identify the next questions during business hours.
Policy changes and documents
Send a Service Request, call 928-758-7961, or email vipservices@jwthompsoninsurance.agency for help with a policy change or document request. Please do not send policy numbers, payment details, medical information, or claim documents through an ordinary email. Our team can arrange an appropriate secure method if more detail is needed.
Submitting a website request does not create, change, bind, or cancel coverage. No coverage change is effective until confirmed by the agency or applicable insurer.
Urgent or after-hours claims
Use the claim contact information in your own policy materials. A website submission does not constitute formal notice of a claim. Our agency can assist during normal business hours, though the website is not monitored as an emergency service.
If you would like help locating claim-reporting information or understanding the usual next steps during normal business hours, Request Claims Assistance.
