Terms of Use
Effective date: September 22, 2026 | Last updated: October 6, 2026
J.W. Thompson Agency, PLLC, doing business as J.W. Thompson Insurance Agency (the “Agency,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), provides this website and Agency forms subject to these Terms of Use. By using jwthompsoninsurance.agency or an Agency form or online service that links to these Terms, including a form hosted for us by Little Giant, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or form.
1. Educational and Informational Purpose
Website content is provided for general educational and informational purposes. It is not a policy, binder, contract, legal opinion, tax advice, financial advice, or a substitute for reviewing your circumstances with a qualified professional. Insurance availability, eligibility, limits, terms, conditions, exclusions, and pricing vary by insurer, product, location, and individual circumstances.
The terms of an issued insurance policy and the applicable insurer’s records control if website content differs from policy language or another governing document.
2. No Coverage Created or Changed Online
Using this website, sending an email, leaving a voicemail, scheduling a conversation, or submitting an online form does not create, bind, change, renew, reinstate, extend, or cancel insurance coverage. No coverage or coverage change is effective until the Agency or applicable insurer confirms it through an authorized method.
Do not rely on a website submission to satisfy a policy deadline, cancellation notice, payment deadline, claim-notice requirement, or request for immediate coverage.
3. Proposal and Contact Requests
A request to start a conversation, ask a question, explore options, or request a proposal is a request for an Agency response only. It is not an application, offer, promise of coverage, price guarantee, or representation that a particular insurer or product is available. We may need additional information through an applicable insurance carrier’s system before an insurance transaction can proceed.
4. Claims and Emergencies
A website form, email, social-media message, or voicemail does not constitute formal notice of a claim to an insurance carrier. For an urgent or after-hours claim, use the claim-reporting information in your insurance identification card, policy documents, billing notice, carrier application, or other official carrier correspondence.
If there is an immediate threat to life, safety, or property, call 911 or the appropriate emergency service. The website is not monitored as an emergency-response service.
5. Information Submitted Through Agency Forms
Information you intentionally enter into an Agency form, including a form hosted for us by Little Giant, may include names; mailing, residential, or business addresses; telephone numbers; email addresses; date of birth when requested; legal business name and DBA; business legal structure; website address; insurance topics or coverage interests; question topics, general questions, or service-request descriptions voluntarily submitted; introduction information; and consent or permission selections. The form system may also create administrative records such as the form or source used, submission date and time, delivery status, and opt-out status.
If you use an introduction form to provide information about another person, you represent that you have that person’s permission to share the information and that the person understands the Agency may contact them. This permission is separate from consent to receive automated or marketing text messages.
Do not submit Social Security numbers, government-identification numbers, payment information, medical information, policy numbers, passwords, insurance applications, claim documents, or other sensitive insurance information through a public website form, ordinary email, or social media. Additional insurance information will be collected within the applicable insurance carrier’s system under that carrier’s privacy notices.
Our collection and use of website information are described in the Website Privacy Policy.
6. Text Messages and Electronic Communications
Using the website, submitting a form, or providing a telephone number does not, by itself, provide consent to receive recurring or marketing text messages. Enrollment in the J.W. Thompson Insurance Agency Text Messaging Program occurs only when a person affirmatively selects the applicable, separately presented consent choice on an Agency form displayed on or linked from jwthompsoninsurance.agency, including a form hosted for us by Little Giant. The consent disclosure shown with that choice supplements these Terms.
Message categories. If you select service and conversational messaging, you may receive requested information, appointment reminders, responses, and service-related communications. If you separately select marketing messaging, you may receive occasional insurance education, Agency information, and promotional communications. Consent to one category does not authorize messages in another category.
Program number. At launch, workflow messages may be sent from 928-754-8082. Additional Agency telephone numbers will be added to these Terms or identified in the enrollment disclosure before they are used for the program.
Program disclosures. Messages may be recurring, message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to the sending number to opt out and HELP for assistance. You may also request assistance or revoke consent by calling 928-758-7961 or emailing connect@jwthompsoninsurance.agency. We will honor reasonable revocation requests and may send one final confirmation that an opt-out has been processed.
Delivery and carrier responsibility. Wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages. Availability and delivery depend on participating carriers, compatible devices, network conditions, and other factors outside the Agency’s control.
Privacy and records. Our Website Privacy Policy explains how mobile information and consent records are handled. We and our service providers may retain the telephone number, consent choice, date and time, source form or URL, consent language version, delivery information, and opt-out status as evidence of enrollment and program administration.
Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing insurance or receiving Agency service. Consent applies only to the Agency, messaging category, and program identified when it is given and may not be transferred. Electronic delivery may be delayed, interrupted, filtered, or misdirected; contact us by telephone when timely confirmation is important.
7. Insurance Availability and Licensing
The Agency is licensed in Arizona, Nevada, and California. Website content is intended for persons in jurisdictions where the Agency is properly licensed and where the discussed insurance product or service is lawfully available. Nothing on the website is an offer or solicitation in a jurisdiction where the Agency is not authorized to act.
8. Third-Party Websites and Carrier Systems
The website may link to third-party websites or services, including insurance carrier systems, social-media platforms, mapping services, and other resources. Third parties control their own content, availability, security, terms, and privacy practices. A link does not mean that the Agency owns or controls the destination or guarantees its content.
9. Acceptable Use
You may use the website only for lawful purposes. You may not interfere with website operation or security; attempt unauthorized access; submit false, fraudulent, unlawful, or harmful material; introduce malicious code; scrape or harvest personal information; impersonate another person; or use the website in a way that infringes another person’s rights.
10. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise identified, website text, design, graphics, photographs, video, and other Agency-created materials are owned by or licensed to the Agency and are protected by applicable law. You may view and print reasonable portions for personal, noncommercial use. You may not copy, modify, republish, sell, distribute, frame, or commercially exploit website material without permission or another lawful basis.
Third-party names, marks, and content remain the property of their respective owners. No license to use any trademark is granted by access to the website.
11. Website Accuracy and Availability
We seek to keep the website accurate and useful, but content may become incomplete, outdated, or unavailable. We may revise, suspend, or discontinue website content or functionality without notice. To the extent permitted by law, the website is provided on an “as available” basis without a guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose.
12. Limitation of Responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Agency is not responsible for losses caused solely by reliance on general website information, inability to access the website, electronic transmission delay, or third-party content or systems. This section does not limit responsibility that cannot lawfully be limited, and it does not alter rights or obligations under an issued insurance policy or applicable law.
13. Accessibility
We are committed to accessible communication and online access. Our current accessibility approach and a method for requesting assistance or reporting a barrier appear in the Accessibility Statement.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the website, services, technology, or legal requirements. The revised Terms will be posted at jwthompsoninsurance.agency/terms with a new “Last updated” date. Changes apply prospectively from the stated effective date unless applicable law requires otherwise.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where another law must apply. Nothing in these Terms requires arbitration, waives a class-action right, or changes a court’s jurisdiction unless the Agency later publishes legally reviewed terms that expressly do so.
16. Severability and No Waiver
If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A delay or failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision or any other right.
